We are pleased to launch an opportunity for reflection and prayer every month, each focusing on a different theme but all reflecting on the global justice issues which CAFOD addresses in its work.
Our Catholic faith underpins our work and prayer is an integral part of what we do and who we are. To be able to pray and reflect together will hopefully inspire us to continue our work in the knowledge that the Holy Spirit never fails.
The first meeting on Thursday 20th January is inspired by Pope Benedict and considers aspects of the message he delivered during his visit. It will be held at St Anthony’s of Padua Catholic Church in Fulwood, Preston, starting at 11am.
And the opportunity to enjoy each other’s company is too good to miss too, so we’d like to follow the prayer with a shared lunch, and ask participants to bring a little food to share.
Do join us. You’ll be most welcome.
