Annual CAFOD Walk with St John’s, Poulton

St John’s Catholic Parish in Poulton hold a sponsored walk every year in support of the work of CAFOD and they extend a warm welcome to you to join them this year.

The Annual St. John’s CAFOD walk will take place on Sunday, 18th September 2011.

Starting from Guy’s Court (St. Michael’s Road, Bilsborrow near Garstang, Preston, PR3 0RS)  at 2.00 p.m., the walk will progress along the side of the canal, and then across the adjoining countryside and back, in due course, to Guys Court, where there is an excellent watering hole and restaurant (which several walkers adjourned to last time!)

The walkers usually number around 20 – 30 people (aged from 4 – 70 odd) on the walk.   It’s proved to be a happy family oriented occasion.

A warm welcome awaits anyone who would like to join in.

The walk is not a long one (4-5 miles) and everyone, even the very young ones (and the not so very young!)  had no trouble in completing it last time.

Sponsor forms can be obtained from Paul Bradley (01253 890763) or Peter Embury (01253 882841).

Maybe there will be some people who do not wish to walk but would be willing to sponsor one of the walkers.
If so, they could contact Peter or Paul.

If you need any further information please contact Paul Bradley on 01253 890763.
