Our Lady of Lourdes Primary School share their talents

The children of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Primary School in Carnforth were busy this Harvest expressing their faith with action during their Share the Harvest Service in school.  Not only did they raise funds for CAFOD but they also supplied tins of food for the local shelter for the homeless – what a generous way to celebrate the Harvest – thinking of those at home and those overseas.
The school’s Year of Faith started with everyone in good voice at the school too.  There was a huge turn out for their Oksana evening – an evening of sharing music in praise and worship with the families of the school, the children and the local community.
The guitar group gave a special finale performance – well done to all the musicians! And in the process they raised a further £187.20 for CAFOD.
It’s brilliant to see the school and its community living their faith together and making a real difference locally and globally – that’s very special to us here at CAFOD – THANK YOU!
