Feast of Life in Lancaster

Celebrating CAFOD’s 50th anniversary, St Bernadette’s Catholic Church in Lancaster will host a performance of the musical The Feast of Life on Thursday, 8th November.  Singers from all over the Lancaster and Morecambe area have been rehearsing together under the expert musical direction of local choir director Christine Medd.

A musical of hope, composed by Garth Hewitt,  takes poverty and injustice overseas and explores the issues through some catchy and well crafted songs.

The Feast of Life conveys a powerful message with its bouncy opening song “Feast Of Life” and the lively “Dance On Injustice” and it needs to be heard.

Come and enjoy the music and celebrate the difference we make through the work of CAFOD: on Thursday, 8th November, starting 7.30pm at St Bernadette’s Catholic Church, 120 Bowerham Road, Lancaster, LA1 4HT.

There’s no charge although donations to CAFOD will be happily accepted, and refreshments will be available.
