Did you know? (15)

Did you know… 9 July is the third anniversary of South Sudan’s independence – but the country is teetering on the brink of catastrophe as it faces its worst food crisis in 25 years, brought about by the ongoing conflict? Nearly4 million people are at risk of severe hunger. CAFOD is scaling up its humanitarian response with its local Church partners. We pray that the international community and all parties to the conflict will redouble their efforts towards the next steps in securing a sustainable, negotiated, peaceful solution to the conflict.
