Did you know? (41)

Did you know…almost a third of Cambodia’s 14 million people live on less than 50 pence a day? CAFOD is working with Development and Partnership in Action (DPA), to support indigenous and vulnerable communities in the remote provinces in north eastern Cambodia. The project works in 29 villages, improving sustainable livelihoods, and increasing access to and knowledge of how best to manage natural resources. It also works to reduce families’ vulnerability to disasters and the impact of climate change.  Your support enables this to take place – thank you.

We provide a weekly ‘CAFOD fact’ as a short ‘Did You Know?’ to parishes across the Lancaster Diocese, which they print in their parish newsletters. If you would be interested in receiving this weekly email, let us know at CAFOD Lancaster and we’ll send it directly to you too – email: lancaster@cafod.org.uk
