Did you know? (52)

Did you know….. CAFOD staff, supporters and partners are preparing to celebrate the beatification of Archbishop Oscar Romero on Saturday 23 May? Archbishop Romero’s words and actions are at the heart of everything that CAFOD does. He was a brave man, who was inspired by his faith to challenge not just poverty but injustice, to give a voice to the voiceless. He was assassinated while celebrating Mass on 24 March 1980. He was one of one of great heroes of the 20th century – a peacemaker who sacrificed his life standing up to injustice.

Here are some of our top resources to help you learn, pray and celebrate the life of Blessed Oscar Romero.
