Every Wednesday during Lent at St Gregory’s, and every Friday during Lent at Our Lady of Eden, bread and soup will be offered in return for a small donation to CAFOD.  Our Lady & St Edward’s parish will be holding their CAFOD Soup Lunch on Saturday 18 March.

A big thank you to all who help organise these lunches. It takes a lot of planning and effort. There will be other Soup Lunches across the diocese, so please do let CAFOD Lancaster know if you would like us to promote your event.

Soup Lunches are a great way to get the parish together to mark Lent Fast Day and spend some time in quiet prayer reflecting on Florence’s story.

CAFOD Lent Fast Day is on Friday 10 March and CAFOD’s Lent appeal runs from Ash Wednesday.
